07 07 2009Pour sa 5ème édition, la première manifestation française - LYON SHOP & DESIGN, vient de se tenir à Lyon et décerne le grand public édition 2009 à FLO (Florent Egasse) – « global designer » – pour son projet QBoat – un projet artistique, contemporain, intéractif, très inattendu…
Un bateau « NIGHT CLUB »…
Le QBoat repensé par FLO est une redéfinition de l’espace au sein d’une péniche. Accompagné par son ami architecte Stephan Revol, FLO a su réaliser un espace d’une grande compétence artistique & technique.
Un lieu ou volumes et lumières se rencontrent et s’harmonisent.
Partant de la sensualité du style Art déco revisité, FLO joue avec les lustres, miroirs, images et mobilier pur, dans des tonalités claires et fumées à la fois.
Les plafonds, sur 70 mètres de long au total, prennent une dimension toute particulière. Tendus d’une toile imprimée, rétro-éclairée, ils s’animent du visage sensuelle d’une femme - des images réalisées par FLO, au même titre que les lampes, lustres et appliques.
Son travail de l’image, mixée, contrastée nettoyée ou salie s’harmonise parfaitement avec les jeux de lumières, sombres et colorés, mettant ainsi en valeur les volumes et les détails.
Dans une perspective inattendue, QBoat confirme son style épuré, pour ce concept de bar festif, ou les peintures s’opposent aux finitions teintées or et coca, et, aux miroirs découpés.
Les logos sont volontairement surdimensionnés, rétro-éclairés, et se positionnent sur les murs, ou les plafonds, donnant ainsi une perspective étonnante, et, très design au lieu.
La terrasse ouverte sur la vue des berges du Rhône se définit par des planches en IP TIGER WOOD.
Le bar extérieur lumineux s’harmonise au mobilier Outdoor composé de salons privatifs en PVC tressé.

Diplômé de l’école d’art graphique – Emile Colh - il débute sa carrière en France comme designer et agent artistique. Un an plus tard il créé Groupe E son agence de communication et collabore très vite avec de prestigieuses marques comme Canal+, le groupe LVMH, Céline…
Fin 2001 il se lance comme designer dans le monde du prêt à porter haut de gamme et créé la marque l-NAI. Prix du jeune créateur Who’s Next – 2001- il est repéré chez Colette et défile sur Fashion TV.
Un parcours inattendu pour un designer / décorateur se définissant comme « MECANO-CREATIF »…
